NONDISCRIMINATION POLICY
EFFECTIVE DATE: MAY 30, 2018
Welcome to Clinical Rotation!
At the core of our business is a vision to create a Platform where all eligible persons across all backgrounds and ways of life can find and experience quality clinical education and extracurricular recreation – to better training, to better healthcare, to better life. At Clinical Rotation, we understand this mission is not easily attained. For a myriad of reasons, quality clinical education and a life delicately balancing training and work-related demands with recreational activities can be a challenge to find, achieve, and deliver. Enter Clinical Rotation – this is what we strive to accomplish every day. Note, however, that there is one specific detail deeply embedded within this vision that is non-negotiable. Our Platform was created for “ALL eligible persons across ALL backgrounds and ways of life.”
When this Nondiscrimination Policy (“Nondiscrimination Policy”) mentions “Clinical Rotation”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, it refers to the company Clinical Rotation LLC. The Nondiscrimination Policy applies to all visitors, users, Members, Hosts, and others (collectively, “you”, “your”) who access or use the Clinical Rotation Platform. If you come upon an undefined term in this Nondiscrimination Policy (such as “Platform” or “Member”), it has the same definition as in our Terms of Service.
Our Platform was designed to give Hosts, at times, the final decision to accept or decline a Reservation based on the specific Reservation Data shared by Members. Reasons for this approach include the complex work and life schedule of Hosts, the dynamic nature of calendar availability and capabilities for hosting, and the belief that optimal Host-Student matching leads to optimal clinical education and experiences. When a Host receives a Reservation request by a Member and a decision point to either accept or decline the Reservation is reached, unless otherwise specified by law, the following rules will be followed:
(i) Hosts may not decline a Reservation for reasons pertaining to the Reserving Member’s race, color, religion, nationality, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital or familial status, age, or disability.
(ii) Hosts may not impose different terms or conditions on a Reservation for reasons pertaining to the Reserving Member’s race, color, religion, nationality, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital or familial status, age, or disability.
(iii) Hosts or Members may not make make any statement that discourages or indicates preference for or against any Reserving Member on account of the Reserving Member’s race, color, religion, nationality, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital or familial status, age, or disability.
As with all of our policies, we fully expect all Members and Hosts to be knowledgeable of and compliant with all local, state, federal, and country-specific laws as they pertain to the individual policy. Should any Member have a concern with our Nondiscrimination Policy or feel as though they were discriminated against with respect to their use of our Platform or in relation to any Reservation or Host Service that is offered through our Platform, we ask that you reach out to us at: Email. Clinical Rotation reserves every right to investigate any real or perceived violation of our Nondiscrimination Policy, and, in its sole discretion, take steps up to and including suspending the Host or Member from the Clinical Rotation Platform.
As you can see above, “Our Front Doors Are Different – all are welcome inside our house”.
Thank you for helping Clinical Rotation uphold its mission!
