Welcome to Healthcare Organization’s emergency medicine clinical rotation. Our emergency department is a level 1 trauma center with STEMI and Stroke capabilities. Our average annual census is 60,000 patient and we are fully staffed with 20 full time physicians, 10 advanced care practitioners, 80 full time nurses and 10 technicians. Generally speaking, you will encounter bread and butter emergency medicine cases in our ED every shift. We pride ourselves in being a top clinical site for our affiliated medical school and are very much interested in hosting outside learners. It is our promise that you will leave our rotation with a broad fund of emergency medicine knowledge and achieve a comfort to handle any emergency that walks (or wheels) through the door.
